Tour Edge Fairway Woods
Exotics XCG-3 Fairway Wood
It is the first fairway wood to incorporate a heavy tungsten sole and titanium body. Tungsten is two times heavier than steel allowing even more weight to be placed below the ball for superior launch characteristics. The sole weighs 126 grams and represents an astonishing 63% of the club head’s total weight. This extra weight lowers the center of gravity for industry-leading forgiveness and remarkable workability.
Making the XCG-3 truly world-class, the titanium cup-face features enhanced variable face technology with a thinner outer edge for more explosive rebound. Combining the face technology with the XCG-3’s perfectly positioned center of gravity, this XCG-3 is capable of delivering astounding shots.
In the Exotics tradition, this club combines the titanium cup face and crown with the tungsten sole using our revolutionary no weld Combo-Brazing process. The parts are chemically treated, pressed together, and vacuum heat cured for permanent bonding without welding. The intrinsic quality of the process is unparalleled, resulting in a lower center of gravity, greater spring off the face, and unheard of feel that’s not possible from a traditional welded club head.
Exotics CB-3 Tour Fairway Wood
Improving on the past, the CB3 boasts a forged 15-3-3-3 titanium face that is lighter and more powerful, delivering undeniable real-world performance. The club’s new and improved variable face thickness includes a thinner perimeter ring around the striking surface to produce the longest hitting, best feeling Exotics fairway wood yet.
The club’s breathtaking looks and jaw-dropping performance compliment its intensely dramatic design that combines a high-tech, titanium cupped face with a heavier hyper steel body. Focusing entirely on performance, every single gram of excess weight is eliminated from the face area and shifted to the rear skirt and sole for a deeper center of gravity.
Just like previous version, the CB3 utilizes the revolutionary no-weld Combo-Brazing process. The two dissimilar metals, titanium and steel, are chemically treated, pressed together, and vacuum heat cured for permanent bonding without welding. The intrinsic quality of the process is unparalleled, resulting in a lower center of gravity, greater spring off-the face, unheard of feel, and a pure energy transfer that’s not possible from a traditional welded club head.
For the ultimate in workability, the CB3 has a smaller tour preferred, classic pear shaped head, lower spin rate, and a higher center of gravity location that promotes a more explosive launch from any lie.
